In the workshop accompanying this performance, the dancer guides the children through floor work that emphasizes body awareness. Each child will explore their own anatomy as they move certain body parts separately. They will slither, crawl, walk and jump, experimenting with all the gamut of gestures possible within those movements. These children will invent their own bestiary with completely different bodies and ways of moving.An improvisation with all these body-animal hybrids will be presented in conclusion to this group dance.
