Pauline Thomas puts the spotlight on two duos. The first pair is a couple whose lives are unfurled in five key moments, a nod to François Ozon’s movie “5x2”. They are enclosed in a narrow space, unaware of the public surrounding them. They recreate the rituals of couple life within these few square meters.

However, does a man/woman duo always have to result in love?

The second duo is portrayed in ten abstract pieces backed by blaring music: White Stripes, Fleetwood Mac (two groups formed by couples!), Olafur Arnalds and Perfume Genius. Ten pieces, like ten slivers of life, both simple and complex, composed or explosive.

The performance is an attack on the senses, a dance depicting the ambiguity of relationships.
