Mnevis (CH)
These Aargau natives tinker with electronics, choppy cymbals and plucked guitar strings. They compose buoyant music, creating sounds that materialize the strange lightness of being without adding the weight of philosophy. The result is an airy groove punctuated with bouts of twangy guitar.
Mnevis is made up of four childhood friends travelling around and performing in Germany, Russia and Switzerland. The direction of their musical ship? An escape towards the galaxy depicted in their album “Episodes,” released by the record label and collective Red Brick Chapel.
A whole lot of potential here!
