Valentine & Emmanuel Michaud (CH)
Saxophonist Valentine Michaud and visual artist Emmanuel Michaud take you on a surrealistic journey, using wordless narratives to convey the flow of time and space. Their trilogy Waiting for Amon was awarded the 2019 Nico Kaufmann Foundation Prize. The final part of this trilogy is Shout, a performance in which enigmatic rituals blend with aural poetry. Majestic or furtive, swirling or still, the characters are diffracted in the waves within a sea of transluscent veils.
