What happens when a conservatory-trained musician teams up with a musician who started in grunge before landing in the alternative scene? What happens when the classical harp meets the rock n’ roll electric guitar? It’s a wild bet, and both Mélanie Virot and Maël Salètes are all in. On top of everything else, the duo adds sounds from African culture - namely Senegalese and Malian - into their compositions.
In the end, what comes out of this melting pot is a soothing and intoxicating ambient rock.
