Field recordings, live mikes, her voice, software and hardware elements: Julie Semoroz draws from these sources to create. The musician sculpts sound that spurs a journey into the unconscious. Using hushed and vaporous tones, she wonders: how should we inhabit our bodies and embody our lives in today’s society?
It is an experimental, occasionally dark, aural journey that examines where human beings stand in a post-industrial and consumerist society in which technology is king.
